Terry Dyer, Senior Project Consultant
Senior Project Consultant - Construction Manager

As a second generation carpenter, Terry began his career in Southern California at the age of 18. Starting in the carpenter's apprenticeship program through the Carpenters Union of Southern California, he embraced the work ethic and formal education, graduated 1 year early at the top of his class, and immediately formed Dyer Bros. Construction with his older brother.

Early work included custom homes in and around Pasadena, CA, many of which focused on period-specific craftsman style. Terry eventually moved into the commercial side of the industry with focus on medical and bio-tech facilities. Terry was instrumental in the early development of Amgen's campus in Newbury Park, CA from 1981 through 1990. During this tenure he produced over $50M and 310,000 square feet of R&D facilities, production laboratories, testing laboratories, shipping and receiving and their 100,000 s.f. executive headquarters to name a few. In parallel with Dyer Bros. Construction work at Amgen, they built production and R&D facilities for one of Johnson and Johnson’s sister companies Iolab, as well as the Del Amo Diagnostic Center in Torrance, CA.

Dyer Bros.'s effective, efficient, and genuine hands-on general contracting skills and knowledge of the business earned the brothers an early retirement. Terry then chose Southwest Colorado as his place to spend the rest of his life where he decided to come out of retirement, and along with son Troy founded Dyerbilt Construction in 1994. After Dyerbilt’s merge with Classique Custom Homes in spring of 2009 Terry performs as a Senior Project Manager. Terry is often hand-selected by clients because of his ability to communicate and present ideas that always fall in the best interest of the finished product and the team. Be it through material selection, best construction practices, value engineering, or detailing to achieve authentication, he has the years of wisdom and passion that the luxury home industry deserves.
