Scott Lancaster,
Project Superintendent
After studying at Sam Houston State University and the University of Houston in the mid 1980's Scott pursued a career in the construction industry with a direct focus in the residential sector. He was privileged enough to apprentice under Ian Martin a master builder from Scotland. Together they specialized in custom kitchen and bathroom remodels with a clear understanding of all phases of structure and finish. He then went down the path of successful self employment managing projects from smaller remodels to full house renovations including a complete restoration of a 1897 plantation mansion in Richmond, TX.
After being sought out by general contracting firms outside of Texas, he and his wife chose to take their children to the East Coast so that he could manage teams in the luxury home market there. Scott lead framing and finish crews for long tenures which easily cultivated both management and quality control positions while proving his dedication and loyalty with only two firms, one in Massachusetts and then in Connecticut.
In 2002 he settled in Durango where he took a position with Prestige Builders as a project supervisor. Through his resume and background and his natural skills with organization, detail orientation and the best of client relationships, Scott was a perfect candidate and model to join the Classique team which he did in 2006.
Having developed a reputation and a 'no compromise' attitude for quality with all clients he was naturally placed as the project superintendent on our current multi structure, multi property project dubbed the No Name Ranch. This project began in the spring of 2010 and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011. Comprised of 88 acres and over 15 structures, all of which are being renovated, rebuilt and landscaped with great success under the watchful eye of a discerning team of designers, architects and of course the owner.
